14. Jacob MECHLING was born on 1 Jan 1765 in Northampton Co. Pennsylvania. He was buried in Jun 1831 in St. Paul's Cemetery Glenford Twp. Perry Co. Ohio. He died on 7 Jun 1831 in Glenford Twp. Perry Co. Ohio. He has Ancestral File number LJ27-HG. LAND: On 3 April 1808 Jacob purchased 640 acres of land Hopewell Township Perry County Ohio. In 1815 he purchased additional land in 1816 he moved to Perry County settling in Hopewell Township. By the time of his death he owned 1700 acres in Perry County. Shortly after arriving in Perry County he donated 4 acres of land for the construction of the St. Pauls's Lutheran Church and in 1830 donated $45.00 towards the building. Jacob's will divided his land among his wife 7 children and the heirs of 2 deceased children. Instead of land he gave his son John $1000.00 and his daughter Mary was given a farm in Armstrong Co. Pennsylvania. Jacob was a justice of the peace in Perry County Ohio.

Anna Maria OTTERMAN (daughter of Ludwick OTTERMAN and Francenia WILLIAMS) was born on 16 Jan 1766 in Pennsylvania. She was buried in Dec 1842 in St. Paul's Cemetery Glenford Twp. Ohio. She died on 10 Dec 1842 in Perry Co. Ohio. She has Ancestral File number 8CSV-Z3. (Mary) Jacob MECHLING and Anna Maria OTTERMAN had the following children:
