55. Frederick MECHLING was born on 31 Aug 1795 in Westmoreland Co. Pennsylvania. He was baptized on 28 Oct 1795 in First Reformed Church Greensburg Pennsylvania. SPONSORS: Frederick & Magdalena Mechlin He was confirmed on 28 May 1813 in First Reformed Church Greensburg Pennsylvania. He was buried in Jul 1861 in St. Paul's Cemetery Glenford Ohio. He died on 10 Jul 1861 in Ohio. He has Ancestral File number NNW8-JP. RESIDENCES: Moved to Perry Co. Ohio with his parents in 1816.

NOTE: Frederick helped organize the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Perry Co. Ohio. From his father he inherited his farm the northwest quarter of Section 17 Range 16 in Hopewell Twp. Perry Co. Ohio.

He was married to Mary SNIDER (daughter of Daniel SNIDER and Mary HARBARGER) on 13 Apr 1819. Mary SNIDER was born on 13 May 1801. She died on 26 Mar 1826. Frederick MECHLING and Mary SNIDER had the following children:

He was married to Sarah (Salome) EMERICK on 27 Mar 1827. Sarah (Salome) EMERICK was born about 1803. She died about 1834. Frederick MECHLING and Sarah (Salome) EMERICK had the following children:
