59. Samuel MECHLING was born on 3 Dec 1804 in Westmoreland Co. Pennsylvania. He was baptized on 15 Apr 1805 in First Lutheran Church Greensburg Pennsylvania. He was buried in Mar 1849 in St. Paul's Cemetery Glenford Ohio. He died on 12 Mar 1849 in Perry Co. Ohio. He has Ancestral File number NNW8-M7. NOTE: Contributed towards the building of St. Paul's Church in Glenford Ohio. LAND: In 1831 he inherited from his father the Northwest quarter of Section 8 Range 16 in Perry Co. Ohio.

He was married to Magdalena (Martha) POORMAN (daughter of Bernard POORMAN and Elizabeth (POORMAN)) on 24 Apr 1834 in Perry Co. Ohio. He was sealed to spouse on 9 Jul 1980 in the Logan Utah LDS temple. Magdalena (Martha) POORMAN was born on 9 Apr 1812. She died on 24 Feb 1892. Samuel MECHLING and Magdalena (Martha) POORMAN had the following children:

child348 vii. Peter Poorman MECHLING was born on 16 May 1847 in Ohio. He died on 23 Apr 1922.
