In no particular order, here's a bunch more cool sites you need to visit:

  • Anchor Bay Entertainment: For info on upcoming DVD releases, including the popular Hammer Horror DVD and video series.

  • Creepy Classics: The place on the web to purchase classic horror and sci-fi flicks on video and DVD.

  • Horror-Wood: The worlds' greatest, ghastliest webzine. I write a DVD review column for this site, and contribute other articles whenever possible.

  • The Astounding B Monster: Another super website for all devotees of classic horror and sci-fi.

  • Kino on Video (and DVD): Kino offers high-quality silent and rare classic genre films on video and DVD.

  • The Internet Movie Database: Everything you ever wanted to know about every movie ever made--really! I'm a frequent poster to the Classic Movies Message Boards here.

  • Turner Classic Movies: Don't have TCM? Move!

  • AMC: Although their film library is limited they occasionally show some of the great (and not-so-great) horror and monster films.

  • Mario Bava Webpage: Writer Troy Howarth offers a marvelous page devoted to the maestro of Italian horror, including passages from his upcoming book on the director.

  • Giallo Cinema: Great page to learn more about Italian fright flicks.

  • Val Lewton page: Good page devoted to the poet laureate of the horror genre.

  • Universals Horror Online: Lots of studio hype but some good info, too.
