10. Dewalt MECHLING was born in 1757 in Northampton Co. Pennsylvania. He died in Dec 1790 in Westmoreland Co. Pennsylvania. He has Ancestral File number LJ27-CR. In 1783 the tax lists him as owning 200 acres 2 horses 2 cows and 1 sheep. Dewalt left a will but his youngest daughter who was not born until some four months later is not mentioned in the will. After Dewalt's death Anna Maria or Mary as she was usually known married Ludwick (Louis) Bonsey and they moved to Fairfield County Ohio with her children. She is buried under the name of Mary Bonsey next to her son Jacob in White Church Cemetery (E.U.B.) Pleasant Twp. Fairfield County Ohio.

He was married to Anna Maria RUGH (daughter of Michael RUGH and Anna Franzina MERKLE) in Northampton Co. Pennsylvania. Anna Maria RUGH was born about 1758 in Pennsylvania. She was buried in Sep 1834 in White Church Cemetery Fairfield Co. Ohio. Buried under the name of Mary Bonsey. She died on 18 Sep 1834 in Pleasant Twp. Fairfield Co. Ohio. She has Ancestral File number LJ25-MV. Dewalt MECHLING and Anna Maria RUGH had the following children:
