1. Samuel GRIFFITH was born in Berks Co. Pennsylvania. I found a reference from the History of Perry County that states that Samuel and Ann came from Berks Co. Pennsylvania and that Samuel was born there. A reference in the History of Somerset County Jenner Township Pennsylvania Page 50 also states that Samuel was on a tax assessors list of 1817. Don't know if this is the same Samuel but his grandson Joshua is shown coming from Somerset County and his sons drove a stagecoach from Somerset County Pennsylvania to Somerset Ohio via the Maryvilles Road.
Samuel GRIFFITH and Ann (GRIFFITH) had the following children:
