121. Michael MACKLIN was born on 6 Oct 1803 in Fairfield Co. Ohio. He died on 14 Feb 1866 in Perry Co. Ohio. NOTE: After his marriage to Sara (Sally) Mechling (widow of Rev. David Long) he adopted the MECHLING spelling of his name. He was the first cousin once removed of his wife Sara. He contributed to the building of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Glenford Ohio.

He was married to Sarah (Sally) MECHLING (daughter of Jacob MECHLING and Anna Maria OTTERMAN) on 19 Feb 1837 in Perry Co. Ohio. Sarah (Sally) MECHLING was born on 6 May 1811 in Westmoreland Co. Pennsylvania. She was baptized on 2 Sep 1811 in First Lutheran Church Greensburg Pennsylvania. She died on 26 Jan 1868 in Perry Co. Ohio. She has Ancestral File number NNW8-T8. LAND: In 1831 she inherited from her father the Northeast quarter of Section 17 Range 16 in Perry Co. Ohio. She later exchanged this land for land in Thorn Twp. Perry Co. Ohio.
