40. Michael RUGH was born on 11 Feb 1781 in Westmoreland Co. Pennsylvania. He was baptized on 20 Mar 1781 in Old Zion Evangelical Church Hempfield Twp. Westmoreland Co. Pa.. NOTE: His name was spelled RUCH on his baptismal record. SPONSORS: Michael & Franzina Ruch He was buried in Jan 1835. He died on 26 Jan 1835 in Blacklick Twp. Indiana Co. Pennsylvania. RESIDENCES: He moved to Indiana Co. before 1810.

Elizabeth RAYMER (daughter of Henry RAYMER and Judith (RAYMER)) died before 1830. Michael RUGH and Elizabeth RAYMER had the following children:

child212 iii. Henry RUGH was born on 30 Apr 1810 in Westmoreland Co. Pennsylvania. He was baptized on 21 Oct 1810 in First Lutheran Church Greensburg Pennsylvania.

child215 vi. Saul RUGH was born about 1818/19 in Blairsville Indiana Co. Pennsylvania. He died between 1893 and 1895 in Kimshew Twp. Butte Co. California.
child216 vii. Paul RUGH was born about 1819 in Indiana Co. Pennsylvania. He died before Sep 1853 in Indiana Co. Pennsylvania. COURT: In 1853 Paul who had taken possession of his father's estate in Blacklick Township Indiana County Pennsylvania died intestate. Keziah Spires Paul's step-mother went to court in September 1853 requesting her share in the settlement claiming that Paul had never provided for her per his father's will. The farm was sold and Keziah was given $100.00.

Keziah (SPIRES) was born about 1809. NOTE: A widow with two daughters before she married Michael Rugh.

RESIDENCES: Keziah stayed in Blacklick Township Indiana County Pennsylvania until after 1840. In 1850 she was living in Pierpont Township Ashtabula County Ohio with the three youngest children. COURT: In 1853 Paul her step-son who had taken possession of his father's estate in Blacklick Township Indiana County Pennsylvania died intestate. Keziah went to court in September 1853 requesting her share in the settlement claiming that Paul had never provided for her per his father's will. The farm was sold and Keziah was given $100.00. Michael RUGH and Keziah (SPIRES) had the following children:
