STEWARDSHIP

Each week we gather to give public thanks and praise to God.� During the Eucharist, the priest says, �Let us give thanks to the Lord our God,� and expressing our faith, we respond, �It is right to give Him thanks and praise.�� The priest continues, �We do well always and everywhere to give thanks.�

We are a grateful people because we are the people of a generous God.� We express our gratitude in words, �Thank you Lord�, and in actions, by doing things that only make sense in response to God�s initiatives of generosity.

Stewardship recognizes that everything comes from God, and using our gifts in service to others as a way to express gratitude to God for His many blessings.
